Most MRI exams last between 20 and 40 minutes. The technologist will make you comfortable on the table, provide you with ear plugs or headphones to listen to music, and will then begin the exam. The Respiratory Therapist assesses and assists in the determination of a respiratory plan of care based on physical assessment, diagnosis, and patient history. Hourly rate range for a Medical Assistant I is $20.00 - $28.35.
